The University is internationally renowned for research in One Health, sustainable development and environment, food and agriculture, and has a particular focus on Asia.
Murdoch University’s flagship campus in Perth is one of the largest urban university campuses in Australia and boasts a vast expanse of natural bushland teeming with unique wildlife.
The Perth campus is adjacent to a new urban centre known as the Murdoch Activity Centre, which includes one of the largest infrastructure projects undertaken in Western Australia — the new Fiona Stanley Hospital. This unique location has created the opportunity to develop an integrated Knowledge and Health Precinct where exciting partnerships with government and industry will support innovative medical, environmental and scientific research.
Murdoch University also has an established campus in Mandurah, located in Perth’s fast growing southern corridor, home to Murdoch’s popular nursing degrees which are taught in state-of-the-art simulation suites. A third campus in suburban Rockingham hosts Murdoch’s pro bono law clinic SCALES and the University’s successful pathways and enabling programs which give students from a variety of backgrounds the opportunity to access a tertiary education through alternative entry streams.
