About Massey University:

Massey University embraces diversity, talent and performance, and provides staff and students with an extensive range of opportunities to develop intellectually, professionally and personally. Massey University began in 1927 as a small agricultural college in Palmerston North. Under its first principal, Sir Geoffrey Peren, it widened its range and enhanced its reputation. In the last 40 years, it has continued growing, to become New Zealand's largest residential university, spread over three cities. Massey University is known for: - groundbreaking research - the applied nature of many of our teaching and research programmes - contribution to land-based industries - distinctive mix of campus-based, distance and international teaching - commitment to innovation - close links with the community - an 80-year tradition of academic excellence.
