Kerman University of Medical Sciences is a medical university located in Kerman, Iran. The university focuses on medical and health sciences education, research, and clinical services, with academic areas including medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing and midwifery, allied medical sciences, public health, Persian medicine, and medical management and informatics. According to the university’s official information, KMU has 9 schools, more than 5,900 students, around 300 international students, 586 faculty members, 28 research centers, and an affiliated healthcare network including 24 hospitals. Its research activities cover fields such as health services management, HIV/STI surveillance, neuroscience, medical informatics, cardiovascular medicine, endocrine and metabolism, disaster and emergency health, and pharmaceutical sciences.
