About Air Force Medical University:

Air Force Medical University(空军医科大学) is a national key university that trains high-level and middle-level medical professionals. The university was founded in 1941 as the Eighth Route Army of the National Revolutionary Army Jinshi Northwest Military District Health School. In 1954, the former Fourth Military Medical University and the former Fifth Military Medical University merged together. In 2017, the university was transferred to the Air Force, and the former Air Force Medical Research Institute was merged to form the Air Force Medical University. The university was identified by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China as one of the first 20 key universities in the country in 1959 and entered the ranks of key military construction universities in 1995. It ranked among the top national discipline construction colleges. The university headquarters is located in the ancient city of Xi’an.
